Job Description:**Subject: BO IP Engineer Position at Ericsson**
Ericsson is seeking a highly qualified and experienced BO IP Engineer to join our Managed Services department and contribute to ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. This individual will provide critical 2nd line support for IP networking infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide 2nd line support and technical assistance for IP network issues, leveraging a minimum of five years of experience in a TAC or similar support role.
* Utilize in-depth knowledge of IP protocols, including static and dynamic routing, to troubleshoot and resolve network incidents.
* Troubleshoot IP connectivity issues for Ericsson Core, access, and charging systems.
* Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including the application of service packs, patches, hot fixes, and configuration changes.
* Configure and install a variety of network devices and services, such as routers and switches.
* Conduct 2nd line troubleshooting for transmission-related outages and degraded issues, utilizing the STC Trouble Tickets System (RTTS).
* Collaborate with Ericsson ENM Support and guide NFM/FO-TX/SE in troubleshooting for Trouble Tickets.
* Support other teams in end-to-end troubleshooting (BO-Access, Cisco MPLS).
* Follow up with the design team for design-related issues.
* Attend committees for investigation and analysis purposes.
* Manage MDT/TCN approvals and verifications for transmission activities.
* Audit the network as required.
* Open and follow up on CSRs with 3rd line support when necessary.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Minimum of seven years of demonstratable experience in IP networking.
* Minimum of five years of experience in a 2nd line support role.
* Proficiency with Ericsson Router 6000.
* Experience with HP switches or routers (e.g., 5930-32QSFP+ Switch, HP 6125XLG Blade Switch, Brocade 16Gb/16c SAN).
* Familiarity with Script understanding and writing
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Cisco and/or Ericsson IP network certifications.
* Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
* Telecom experience.
**Additional Requirements:**
* Ability to work in a 24/5 shift schedule.
* Availability for on-call support during weekends when required.
