Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a BIM Helper Section Head. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of BIM helpers and assisting with the coordination and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of BIM helpers in the creation and maintenance of BIM models.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of BIM tasks.
- Train and onboard new team members on BIM software and processes.
- Conduct quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate BIM data into project workflows.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and provide support to team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest BIM technologies and industry best practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation on BIM processes and outcomes.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to BIM.
- Experience in leading a team or managing projects is a plus.
- Certification in BIM software and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
