Job Description:As a Business Intelligence Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that facilitate critical decision-making, leading to enhanced customer experience, business growth, and improved efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
**Data Collection and Preparation:**
* Collecting data from diverse sources, including CRM systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
* Ensuring data accuracy and consistency through cleaning and validation procedures.
* Transforming data into appropriate formats for analytical purposes.
**Data Analysis, Visualization, and Reporting:**
* Employing descriptive analytical techniques to identify patterns, historical trends, and correlations within the data.
* Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data characteristics utilizing MS Excel and Power Query.
* Creating data visualizations using MS Excel Dashboards, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint. The role requires proficiency in translating complex data into meaningful and actionable insights and recommendations readily understood by clients and senior management.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Developing reports and dashboards according to business requirements.
* Disseminating reports on predefined timelines based on business needs.
**Stakeholder Management:**
* Collaborating with clients and operations management to ascertain their data requirements.
* Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serving as a facilitator for informed business decisions.
**Problem Solving and Critical Thinking:**
* Applying creative and innovative approaches to identify solutions to existing and potential business challenges.
* Effectively converting ideas into actionable business insights.
Skills:
Essential Skills:
MS Excel: Should be very strong in Advanced Excel tools including Pivoting & Charting, Formulae & Functions, Data Validation, conditional formatting etc..
Power Query: Should have excellent working knowledge in Power Query usage including data transformation (Data cleaning, Data types, pivoting and unpivoting, Data aggregation, Append, Merge etc..), M language & DAX
Power BI: Should have good knowledge of importing, transforming, modelling and visualizing data with interactive reports using Power BI
MS PowerPoint: Should be effective in structuring presentations to build a compelling narrative from the analysis insights while making it visually appealing and professional
Desired Skills:
*Knowledge of SQL / Python / Power Automate / Excel Automation using VBA are added advantages.
Soft Skills:
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills: You will be directly interacting with the Clients and Senior Management and should be able to effective articulate with confidence & establish strong trust.
Teamwork: Should be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Critical Thinking & Decision Making: You should be able to think through complex business problems for identifying root causes by paying attention to details
Time Management: Should be ready to work under tight deadlines without compromising on data accuracy & precision
Experience: Min. 2 Yrs in a Data Analyst role with knowledge of Quality Framework in Customer Service industry
