Job Description:**Maintain accurate and compliant banking operations by:**
* Recording all bank transactions in the accounting system daily.
* Conducting regular bank reconciliations, including investigation of discrepancies.
* Monitoring bank accounts to ensure adequate funds and effective cash flow management.
* Preparing and reviewing financial reports pertaining to bank transactions.
* Managing incoming and outgoing bank payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
* Corresponding with banks to address transaction inquiries, obtain confirmations, and resolve issues.
* Providing support for month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Maintaining and organizing all banking documentation to ensure currency.
* Ensuring adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
* Assisting with internal and external audits by providing pertinent banking documentation and reports.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a same role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bank reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is Preferable.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
