Job Description:**Option 1: Formal and Concise**
> The organization seeks a Backend Team Lead to provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of backend developers focused on the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based deployments, complemented by experience in Agile Scrum environments with DevOps and test automation methodologies. This leadership role necessitates the ability to drive high-performance development practices and ensure superior software quality through oversight of architecture, code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities include technical leadership, Agile team management, DevOps and cloud integration, performance optimization, and stakeholder communication.
Skills:
5+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in Spring Boot, Java, and microservices architecture.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of database technologies .
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitOps).
Strong understanding of security best practices, API authentication (OAuth, JWT), and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Pact).
Leadership & Agile Skills:
Experience leading and mentoring backend development teams.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications:
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications (preferred for cloud deployments).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Developer (PSD).
