Job Description:**Sales Management Responsibilities:**
This position encompasses comprehensive sales leadership and management responsibilities, including strategic planning, team leadership and development, sales operations and performance management, and business development/client relationship management. Responsibilities include:
* **Strategic Sales Planning:** Formulating and executing strategic sales plans to realize organizational goals, identifying and capitalizing on emerging market opportunities, and adapting strategies based on market intelligence and customer insights. Setting and monitoring individual and team performance against pre-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* **Team Leadership and Development:** Recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing B2B sales team. Conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating professional development opportunities. Cultivating a positive and results-oriented team dynamic through coaching and guidance in sales techniques, product expertise, and customer relationship management.
* **Sales Operations and Performance Management:** Monitoring sales performance against targets across various timeframes, implementing and optimizing sales processes for improved efficiency, preparing and presenting sales forecasts and pipeline reports to executive leadership. Leveraging CRM software for sales activity tracking, lead management, and data analysis. Identifying and addressing performance deficiencies within the team.
* **Business Development and Client Relationship Management:** Actively participating in key account management and complex sales negotiations. Establishing and nurturing robust, long-term relationships with key clients and partners. Identifying and pursuing new business prospects, guiding leads through the sales cycle. Understanding client needs and delivering customized solutions. Representing the organization at relevant industry events and conferences.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
