Automation Specialist – Intelligent Automation & AI (Remote)

Role Overview:Drive enterprise-wide automation transformation by designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions that deliver measurable business value. Lead journeys from process discovery to production deployment, combining RPA, AI, and integration technologies to transform how we operate.Key Responsibilities:Automation Strategy & Delivery:Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across the organization.Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions from concept to production.Build hyper-automation solutions combining RPA, AI, and intelligent document processing.Ensure scalability, reliability, and ROI of all automation initiatives.AI & Innovation:Deploy AI/ML solutions for knowledge work augmentation.Implement intelligent document processing for structured and unstructured data.Ensure proper governance, security, and compliance for AI implementations.Evaluate and pilot emerging automation technologies.Integration & Operations:Design seamless integrations between automated processes and enterprise systems.Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.Create reusable frameworks and components for rapid deployment.Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships.Leadership & Enablement:Discuss and define automation standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.Drive change management and stakeholder adoption.Enable and support leadership to drive the department’s workload.Measure and communicate automation value and benefits.Required QualificationsExperience:3+ years in enterprise automation, RPA, or AI/ML implementationsOver 2 years of experience in designing and developing practical solutions using Agentic and Multi-Agent AI frameworks.Proven track record of delivering production automation at scaleExperience establishing automation programs or CoEsDemonstrated ability to deliver measurable business value (cost savings, efficiency gains)Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical background with hands-on implementation capabilityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsStrategic thinking balanced with practical executionChange leadership and organizational influenceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in computer science.Relevant automation, cloud, or architecture certifications preferred.Technology Stack:RPA Platforms: Power Automate and UiPathWorkflow Orchestration: Power Automate, Camunda, Airflow, or similarLow-Code / No-Code Application : PowerApps, Zoho Creator, or similarBusiness Automation: Microsoft Power BI and TableauVoice Agents: VAPI, PolyAI, or similarProgramming Languages: Python, Bash or similarAI & Machine Learning:Frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow or Hugging FaceLLM Platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similarBasic implementation and integration of AI/ML modelsIntegration & APIs:REST, GraphQL, WebhooksiPaaS tools such as Boomi to Workato, or similarDatabases: SQL, PL SQL and NoSQL fundamentalsCloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or similarContainers: Docker, Kubernetes, or similarCI/CD & Version Control: GitHub ActionsTesting: Unit and integration testing practicesSuccess MetricsAutomated processes delivered and adoption ratesBusiness value generated (cost reduction, efficiency improvement)System reliability and performanceStakeholder satisfaction and CoE (Center of Excellence) maturity
