Job Description
Responsibilities:
• PLC/RTU & SCADA & Instrumentation Automation Systems
o Siemens PLC & SCADA
o Wonderware/AVEVA SCADA Software
- System Design and Implementation:
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for maritime projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into maritime systems.
- Programming and Configuration:
- Develop and write PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code to control and automate maritime equipment and processes.
- Configure and optimize SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for effective monitoring and control.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of automation systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures to ensure the reliability of control systems.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate control systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the project lifecycle.
Skills
Requirements:
5+ Year Experience in new projects NOT in Operation & Maintenance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation and control systems, preferably in the maritime industry.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and SCADA systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
