Job Description:**Audit Manager/Senior Manager**

An opportunity exists for an Audit Manager/Senior Manager to assume responsibility for managing a portfolio of key clients and overseeing the complete audit cycle.

**Responsibilities:**

* Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for daily operational matters and technical issues.
* Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients, fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Develop strategies to address complex technical challenges, contributing to the ongoing professional development of both the individual and the team.
* Assist in the management and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to critical deadlines.
* Design the audit strategy and oversee audit execution in accordance with the engagement leader’s guidance.
* Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, maintaining current knowledge through internal and external professional development opportunities.
* Manage client relationships with senior management, including the delivery of presentations to boards of directors and audit committees.
* Ensure adherence to all risk, quality, and independence compliance requirements.
* Maintain awareness of local and national business and economic trends.
* Coach, mentor, and develop team members, demonstrating care for their well-being.
* Promote the adoption of digital initiatives, audit transformation technologies, and alternative delivery models to enhance audit robustness and align with firm objectives.
* Participate in the recruitment process, conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates in accordance with established hiring standards.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6-10 years of external financial audit experience within a Big 4 firm.
* Completion of a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA, or CPA.
* Experience auditing Banking/Insurance clients is preferred.
* Demonstrated communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
* Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is advantageous.
* Proven project management skills and experience managing audits from planning to completion.
* Comprehensive knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) in the external audit of financial services, with in-depth understanding of IFRS relevant to the FS practice (such as IFRS9, IFRS17) and financial services regulations.
* Demonstrated confidence in challenging oneself and others to ensure high-quality testing and documentation.
* Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
* A proactive approach to innovative thinking, supporting colleagues through change and uncertainty to overcome obstacles.
* Experience fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages constructive challenge and the ability to resolve team issues promptly.
* A commitment to professional excellence, demonstrating resilience and dedication to self-development, including agility and innovation in the digital sphere.
* A commitment to promoting and valuing diversity within teams.
* Knowledge of audit technologies and experience using data analytics tools is desirable.
