Assistant Operations Manager – Health & Safety, Quality, Logistics, Warehouse (inbound / outbound).
Be the point of contact for Health and Safety standards within the facility whilst promoting and inspiring a culture of safety on-site. Have an understanding of inventory control and systems environment, working alongside the Logistics and Warehouse Managers. Liaising with other support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, IT) on staffing plans, schedules and performance level. Implement progressive process change and contribute in cross-functional process improvement and any certifications in things such as Six Sigma or Kaizen will be an advantage. Additionally you will partner with procurement as the company has a workshop within the facility to allow on-site repairs.
