Position Summary:

The Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of tools, appliances, and equipment. This role includes calibrating controls, gauges, and meters, as well as identifying and operating shut-off valves. The Technician will manage parts and supplies, including ordering, marking, and stocking, in addition to maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery.
Utilize computer systems to access and input work-related information.
Operate power lifts.
Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
Assist in the development of disaster response protocols.
Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly and professionally.
Adhere to company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries as required.
Complete all necessary safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
Fulfill other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
