Job Description:**Option:**
The Rosewood Red Sea, an ultra-luxury establishment within the Red Sea Global destination, invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. This role, integral to the pre-opening leadership team, will provide support to the Director of Food & Beverage in the strategic oversight and operational management of the resort’s diverse food and beverage offerings, encompassing dining venues, bars, banqueting services, and in-room dining. The successful applicant will demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of luxury service principles, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the leadership and management of the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring seamless operational efficiency across all outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, and in-room dining.
* Support the formulation and implementation of innovative food and beverage concepts that align with the resort’s luxury brand positioning and exceed guest expectations.
* Collaborate effectively with culinary and service teams to maintain consistent standards of quality, service delivery, and adherence to established brand guidelines.
* Contribute to revenue generation, cost control measures, and the achievement of profitability targets as defined in the budget.
* Assume a proactive role in pre-opening activities, including recruitment processes, training programs, the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the implementation of operational systems.
* Ensure full compliance with all applicable local regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
* Cultivate a work environment that promotes engagement, empowerment, and continuous improvement within the Food & Beverage team.
* Serve as a strategic business partner to the Director of Food & Beverage, providing insightful analysis, market intelligence, and actionable operational recommendations.
**Qualifications:**
* A minimum of eight to ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Food & Beverage, including at least three years in a senior management capacity within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
* Prior experience in the pre-opening phase of ultra-luxury or lifestyle brand properties is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute diverse and compelling dining experiences across multiple outlets.
* Strong financial acumen, with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a history of successfully building and managing high-performing teams.
* A comprehensive understanding of global luxury hospitality trends and evolving guest expectations, coupled with cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
