Job Description:**Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) invites applications for Teaching Faculty positions in the field of Artificial Intelligence.**

MBZUAI seeks highly motivated and passionate individuals to deliver high-quality instruction, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum development within its Master in Applied Artificial Intelligence (MAAI) program. The MAAI program addresses the critical need for skilled professionals in Artificial Intelligence applications across industry, research, and government sectors, both within the UAE and globally. This program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, equipping students with advanced skills for the adaptation and implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies. Aligned with Abu Dhabi’s knowledge economy vision and national Artificial Intelligence strategies, the MAAI program educates future leaders in cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence applications, supporting economic and societal development in the UAE. The successful candidate will deliver courses for the MAAI program, catering to mid- to senior-level career professionals. Strong industry experience and familiarity with the business landscape in the United Arab Emirates are highly advantageous. The faculty member will deliver world-class education and student experience through innovative teaching and learning approaches, engage with industry to identify innovative projects, continuously develop the rigor and relevance of the curriculum, and support student research projects. Responsibilities include supervising student internships and industry research projects, liaising with industry partners, and sourcing qualified guest lecturers. The faculty member will also maintain scholarly or professional development activities, contribute to university committees, follow scientific developments, and participate in societal interaction and international cooperation.

**Qualifications:**

Applicants should preferably hold a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related area prior to the start of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in conducting innovative and impactful research, applying advanced technologies to solve real business challenges, and mentoring graduate students. In exceptional cases, candidates without a Ph.D. may be considered if they possess outstanding experience in AI application, education, or industry practice.
