Job Description:**Responsibilities:**
The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive creative leadership and strategic direction for all visual communications and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with Zewail City’s brand values as a prominent national center for science, innovation, and technology. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and enforcement of brand guidelines, the oversight of campaign and content design across various platforms, the management of a design team, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and the diligent oversight of production processes to maintain quality and adherence to established standards.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related
field (Master’s preferred). - Minimum 7 years of experience in design and art direction, preferably in academic,
research, or non-profit environments. - Proven experience developing visual identities and managing brand systems.
Strong portfolio showcasing design excellence across digital, print, and multimedia
platforms. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects,
Premiere Pro) and design prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD). - Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and digital design trends.
Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-
paced environment. - Experience working in science, education, or research institutions.
- Familiarity with video production workflows and storyboarding.
- Basic understanding of Arabic language and cultural context (English fluency
required).
