Job Description:Middle School Art and Design Teacher Start Date: August 2026 Curriculum: IB MYP / Australian Curriculum Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Art and Design Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and instruct Middle School students (Grades 6-10). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in visual arts, design technology, and the interdisciplinary application of the arts within the IB MYP framework. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Art and Design to Middle School students (Grades 6-10). Integrate visual arts, design technology, and the interdisciplinary nature of the arts within the IB MYP framework. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback. Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment. Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Qualified teacher holding degree-level certification and QTS or equivalent. Minimum of two years of post-qualification teaching experience, preferably in Australia, New Zealand, UK, or Ireland. Experience with the Australian curriculum is highly desirable. Teachers with alternative curriculum experience able to demonstrate excellent teaching practice are also encouraged to apply. Previous international experience is welcomed. Previous experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) is highly sought after.
