Job Description
- Develop and implement engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Teach Arabic language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to support their language development and proficiency.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with varying levels of proficiency and background knowledge.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates Arabic language and culture, fostering respect, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.
- Incorporate authentic materials, literature, and cultural artifacts into instruction to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align Arabic language instruction with other subject areas and promote interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development activities, including workshops, conferences, and collaborative planning meetings, to stay updated on best practices in language teaching.
- Engage in reflective practice and continually seek opportunities for professional growth and improvement as an Arabic language educator.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic language, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure for Arabic language instruction (if required by the state or country).
- Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and/or regional Arabic dialects, depending on the context of instruction.
- Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Strong knowledge of Arabic language pedagogy and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to promote understanding and appreciation of Arabic language and culture.
- Classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust instruction as needed.
- Passion for teaching Arabic language and fostering language fluency, cultural understanding, and global citizenship among students.
- درجة البكالوريوس أو أعلى في اللغة العربية، أو التربية، أو مجال ذي صلة.
