Job Description:Agile Business Lead – Product Manager/Product Owner Summary: This position serves as the primary point of contact from the GTB Channels team for API Banking Solutions, encompassing Cash Management (Payments, Collections, Virtual Accounts, FX, and Accounts). The role is responsible for leading the strategic direction, customer relationship management, platform requirements definition, design, development, and comprehensive management of end-to-end API solutions tailored for corporate clients. Additionally, this role provides support for sales initiatives, strategic client advisory, solutions development, market research, Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, product development, and the evaluation of global and local product offerings to identify the optimal solutions for the bank. The successful candidate will also possess strong leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to pre-sales solution development as needed. Responsibilities: Serve as the dedicated point of contact for API Banking Solutions within the GTB Channels team. Lead the strategic planning, design, development, and management of end-to-end API solutions for corporate clients, focusing on Cash Management functionalities. Manage client relationships and gather requirements to ensure API solutions meet specific business needs. Contribute to sales efforts by providing technical expertise and support for strategic client deals and RFPs. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the API banking landscape. Evaluate global and local product offerings to recommend the most suitable solutions for the bank. Provide leadership and support to pre-sales solution development initiatives. Define, monitor, and optimize API performance to ensure scalability and efficiency. Ensure adherence to API authentication and standardization protocols for requests and responses. Prepare business cases, RFPs, use cases, and user journeys to support product development and implementation. Track project milestones and provide regular status reports to management. Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Lead. Demonstrated domain expertise in API banking, with proven experience in leading the rollout of API solutions at leading banks. Minimum of 5 years of experience in building API Banking and Cash Management solutions. Experience in creating customer-centric API documentation. Experience in developing Developer Portals to enhance API adoption. Experience in defining and monitoring API performance metrics for benchmarking and scaling. Comprehensive understanding of API authentication and standardization of API requests and responses. Experience collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and client advisory teams for API solutions and Cash Management RFPs. Experience working with global or regional banks in the UAE/Middle East region. In-depth knowledge of Cash Management solutions, with expertise in at least four of the following areas: Payments, Collections, Virtual Accounts, FX, Accounts Management, Liquidity, and Treasury. Experience participating in RFP/RFI processes for selecting enterprise-level API Banking or Cash Management solutions for banks and financial institutions. Experience preparing business cases, RFPs, use cases, and user journeys. Experience tracking project milestones and preparing status reports for management presentations. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, management, or computer science. Experience with ERP/Host-to-Host implementations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Open Finance/Open Banking/FinTech. Experience with previous enterprise-level project deliveries for Cash Products, including Payments, Cash Flow Forecasting, Liquidity, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and Direct Debits. Certifications in API Banking, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
