AP Accounting Section Head

Job Summary

We are seeking an AP Accounting Section Head to lead the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and effective management of company payables. The role plays a critical part in managing cash outflows, especially with a high volume of import transactions, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring compliance across retail, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Oversee all accounts payable activities, including invoice verification, posting, and payment processing for both local and international suppliers.
• Manage and monitor payments related to import transactions, including coordination with banks, customs, and logistics partners.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouses, branches and factories to ensure accurate documentation and smooth workflow.
• Monitor vendor balances and perform regular reconciliations to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts related to payables and support management in liquidity planning.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle escalations related to payments or disputes.
