Job Description:**Position Summary**

The Junior Accounts Payable Accountant, located within our Shared Services Center, will be accountable for supporting the complete Accounts Payable cycle across various entities or regions. Responsibilities encompass invoice processing, supplier reconciliation, payment execution, and issue resolution, all while maintaining strict adherence to organizational policies, deadlines, and internal controls.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Accurately input and process vendor invoices (both PO and non-PO) within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
* Ensure timely approvals and adherence to established delegation of authority.
* Reconcile invoices with corresponding purchase orders and delivery documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of payment proposals and the execution of payment batches.
* Facilitate timely remittance to vendors in accordance with agreed-upon payment terms.
* Address supplier inquiries and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
* Provide support for the maintenance of vendor master data (e.g., banking details, contact information updates).
* Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor accounts.
* Communicate effectively with procurement, receiving, and relevant business units to facilitate issue resolution.
* Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation as required.
* Comply with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, where applicable.
* Identify and report any unusual or potentially fraudulent transactions.
* Contribute to initiatives designed to enhance Accounts Payable processes and operational efficiency (e.g., automation, process mapping).
