Job Description

Our client is seeking a candidate with at least four years’ experience in marketing, preferably within alumni relations. In this role you will lead the strategy and plans of the alumni program in the Middle East, managing alumni engagements in accordance with the program’s goals and objectives. This involves designing, developing, and implementing communication programs, events, platforms, and websites; as well as maintaining database health and optimising the transition process.

Description:

  • Develop the marketing strategy for our client’s ME alumni program
  • Drive all alumni marketing initiatives, from inception to implementation, including career placement services
  • Work with Human Capital team to optimise the transition process and ensure maximum onboarding of leavers to ME alumni program during exit process
  • Be the primary point of contact for any internal/external requests on alumni program
  • Drive discussions on way forward in alumni relations, including championing innovative ideas and programs
  • Plan for and oversee the alumni budget
  • Build alumni communications plans and develop targeted programs and content to drive engagement and strengthen relationships with our client
  • Manage all communications, including the compilation and production of the ME alumni newsletter
  • Lead outreach programs to alumni, including physical/digital mailings and email marketing campaigns via Salesforce
  • Contribute alumni-related content for the firm’s official social media channels, ensuring that the material is fresh, engaging, and interactive
  • Develop an internal communications plan that clearly articulates the value, benefits, and goals of the alumni program, and lays out the asks from the senior community
  • Own and drive the alumni community in Salesforce Experience Cloud (SFEC) in coordination with regional and global teams, including innovating and improving the platform, and articulating/driving/monitoring change requests with technical teams
  • Continuously manage the platform by migrating new members, creating a strong content pipeline, and facilitating discussions
  • Build and sustain a community environment for alumni to turn to, be part of and thrive in. Leverage tools within the platform to promote discussions, groups, events, to promote sense of inclusion. Invite content leaders/owners to stimulate intellectual/conducive conversations
  • Manage other alumni platforms including the global alumni website and ME alumni LinkedIn group
  • Be an integral member of the decision-making team involved in the launch of new alumni systems, defining corporate direction and initiatives
  • Manage the alumni database to ensure that it is accurate, that information is updated regularly, and that significant changes are communicated internally
  • Manage career placement services and populate the careers portal. Consult with staff and alumni to source and share job opportunities
  • Plan and execute events, including regional and office-specific alumni gatherings that result in unique experiences
  • Identify and execute alumni-focused activities (e.g., expert talks, industry-focused webinars, etc.)
  • Monitor and report on alumni program key performance indicators (KPIs), devising solutions to maintain strong performance and/or improve performance when needed
  • Drive the development of reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
