Advanced Technical Management Principal Expert

Job PurposeThe role holder is responsible for overseeing operations of all network elements and services across all domains, including Fixed, Mobile, Core, Transport, Firewall, and Special Services. Managing network integration, providing T3 support, preparing for emergencies, and developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Implementing security standards, managing software upgrades, and ensuring the resolution of vulnerabilities and bugs. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.Job ResponsibilityCore ResponsibilitiesEnsure supporting 24×7 all network elements and services (All Domains, Fixed, Mobile, Core, Transport, Firewall, Special services)Manage network element integration and backupEnsure providing T3 support for critical casesPrepare for emergency and special eventsDevelop & ensure deployment of the contingency plans for disastersCreate business continuity, disaster recovery, resiliency plans when neededConduct threat management and security standards implementationDepending on the scope, deploy script for network enhancementEnsure Bug and issue resolution via patch loadingManage of minor software upgrades for network elementsDevelop preventive maintenance procedures to enhance customers’ experienceEnsure all elements vulnerabilities fix and aligned with Security guidelinesPrepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports for all back office activities and related incidentsCollaborate and Interface with other groups within SEA Sector and with others external sectors (e.g. TUs sectors, BUs and etc…)Ensure applying and supporting STC’s Revenue Assurance business changes (Tariff, promotions, events, etc.) and STC’s internal/external auditing guidelinesManage failed orders analysis, participate in RTTS TT review, projects meeting, Change Management meeting and IT Failed Orders committeeManage launching STC promotions and offers on IN, Messaging, SDP & VAS ApplicationConduct audit and ensure all elements configurations for all domainsJob Responsibility (cont.)Years Of ExperienceA minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role.Nature Of ExperiencePrior experience in – within the Telecommunication industryJob BandSTP- Similar Director ManagerSkillsEducationBachelor Degree in Engineering or TechnologyMasters Degree in Engineering or TechnologyAdditional EducationCertifications Relevant certification in Advanced Project Management (PMP) Relevant certification in operational excellence (e.g. Six Sigma Certification or any relevant certification).
