Job Description:The primary responsibilities of this position encompass the preparation and issuance of client invoices in accordance with established company policies and contractual agreements. Further duties include monitoring outstanding receivables, proactively engaging with clients to facilitate timely payment collection, and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and complete payment posting. This role also entails investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes pertaining to client accounts and payments. Collaboration with sales and project teams is required to validate contract terms and billing information. Support will be provided for month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable. Maintenance of precise and systematically organized financial records, adhering to both company and regulatory standards, is essential. Finally, this position will assist with internal and external audit processes by furnishing requisite documentation and supporting explanations.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an office-based, on-site setting.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
