Job Description: **Accounts Receivable Executive – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**
**Job Summary:**
We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts Receivable Executive to join our finance department within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is paramount to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization through effective management of accounts receivable, timely invoice generation, accurate payment processing, and comprehensive financial record-keeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding customer balances and providing detailed reporting to management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Generate and issue invoices to clients in accordance with established agreements and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Proactively monitor outstanding accounts, diligently pursuing collections of overdue payments from customers.
* Conduct regular reconciliation of customer accounts to verify the accuracy of payments, deposits, and outstanding balances.
* Engage in clear and professional communication with customers to resolve payment discrepancies, address inquiries, and negotiate mutually agreeable payment terms as required.
* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable aging reports, providing management with up-to-date information on overdue accounts.
* Accurately record and process customer payments received via various methods, including bank transfers, checks, and credit card transactions, ensuring proper allocation of funds.
* Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers, recommending appropriate credit limits to management.
* Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to effectively resolve customer disputes and facilitate timely payment resolution.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Saudi Arabian financial laws and regulations, including Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance.
* Contribute to month-end closing procedures by providing accurate accounts receivable data and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger.
* Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of proven experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles.
* Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
* Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively address complex customer inquiries and payment-related issues.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Comprehensive understanding of Saudi Arabian financial regulations, including VAT and tax laws.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and liaise with other departments.
