The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in managing the accounts receivable function, specifically within the pharmaceutical distribution sector in the UAE. This encompasses ensuring the accurate and timely generation of invoices and the diligent collection of receivables. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining meticulous financial records and contributing to the preparation of financial reports. Key responsibilities include the comprehensive management of the accounts receivable process, encompassing invoicing, collections, and the accurate application of payments in accordance with customer instructions. The generation and dispatch of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes to customers within stipulated timelines is required. Proactive follow-up on overdue accounts and collaborative engagement with customers to facilitate the resolution of payment-related matters are essential. Accurate application of cash/bank receipts to customer accounts and the reconciliation of discrepancies are also integral to the role. The preparation and maintenance of accurate and current accounts receivable aging reports is necessary, as is providing support during month-end closing procedures and the financial reporting process. Collaboration within the team and with other departments, such as warehouse and sales, to address customer billing and payment inquiries is expected.
