**Position Objective:**

The primary objective of this position is to provide comprehensive support to the Finance Manager in the execution of daily financial reporting and management accounting functions across all designated sites.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the accurate and timely completion of month-end processes for all designated areas of the profit and loss statement and balance sheet, ensuring appropriate reporting and supplemental analysis.
* Cultivate effective professional relationships with relevant staff members at all sites and within the finance department to facilitate the seamless flow of information necessary for the preparation of management accounts.
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives at all levels to enhance the efficiency and quality of accounting and reporting functions.
* Provide assistance in the development of budgets and forecasts for various sites within the healthcare and education sectors.
* Analyze financial trends, compare actual performance against budgetary targets, and provide detailed explanations for significant variances across healthcare and education divisions.
* Address day-to-day operational issues within the broader finance department.
* Manage reconciliation processes related to insurance, banking, and payroll.
* Ensure accurate revenue recognition through monitoring of healthcare management software.
* Collaborate on the preparation of Value Added Tax (VAT) submissions for quarterly reporting.
* Support the year-end audit process, maintaining regular communication with internal and external auditors throughout the financial year.
* Prepare and validate presentation materials and financial data for use in financial presentations.
* Generate routine and ad hoc analyses and reports as required, and support ad hoc project work, in accordance with functional business requirements.
* Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
* Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
* Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
* Conduct independent accounting researches in order to identify and improve the business’s accounting practices and to be able to draft and provide recommendations and provide guidance to senior accounting management.
* Shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of patient records, data and information.
* Ensuring good quality documentation, which meets the Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.

**Experience and Skills:**

* Demonstrable and relevant experience within a finance function.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in managing demanding situations.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

The role holder will hold a full accounting qualification or be part qualified and in the process of completing their

qualification ACCA, CPA, CMA.
