Job Description:
Responsible for accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of gold and silver bar transactions using Odoo.
Position Overview
The Accountant for Gold & Silver Bullion ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all bullion transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, Odoo proficiency, and the ability to maintain precise financial and inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
• Record all gold and silver bar purchases, sales, and transfers in Odoo.
• Reconcile daily bullion inventory and financial accounts.
• Maintain accurate tracking of quantities, serial numbers, and storage locations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and inventory reports.
• Support audits by organizing invoices, receipts, and bullion documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and AML/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and external partners.
• Improve accounting and Odoo workflows for better efficiency.
