Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on Conciseness and Formal Tone):**

The successful applicant will possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and demonstrate proficiency in numerical analysis with meticulous attention to detail.

**Core Objective:**

To provide support to the financial department through the management of daily accounting operations, contributing to the maintenance of accurate and transparent financial records in collaboration with a team. This includes assisting in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and other relevant reports) in accordance with established accounting and financial guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Maintain accurate and readily available financial data by updating relevant databases.
* Manage accounts receivable/payable, generate invoices, and perform reconciliations.
* Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
* Support senior accountants in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial closings.
* Process all customer remittances (cash, credit, or cheques).
* Verify pricing accuracy.
* Issue changes, receipts, refunds, or tickets.
* Reconcile cash drawers at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy and adequate change.
* Address and resolve customer inquiries and provide pertinent information.
* Maintain records of transactions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through professional interaction.
* Contribute to the departmental performance through effective work processes.
* Ensure timely deposit of cash receipts.
* Implement and maintain adequate control measures for outstanding cash and accounts.
* Operate under general supervision, with regular performance review and guidance from a supervisor.
