The incumbent is responsible for the preparation, review, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ascertain accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant reporting and procedural standards. This includes the management of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the prompt processing of invoices and disbursements. The role requires the monitoring of project budgets, the tracking of expenditures, and the provision of periodic financial updates to project managers and senior leadership. Furthermore, the incumbent will reconcile bank statements and maintain precise general ledger entries for all organizational transactions. Assistance will be provided in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. The role also entails supporting audits by furnishing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting mandates and tax filings is paramount. Collaboration with project teams is required to facilitate accurate cost allocation and monitor the financial progression of ongoing projects. The identification and implementation of process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations is expected. The incumbent will also maintain organized financial records and provide support to the finance team in various administrative capacities, as required.
