Job Description:**About the Position:**
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive **Junior Accountant** to contribute to the expansion of our finance operations. This role entails responsibility for the maintenance of precise financial records, assistance with routine accounting procedures, and support of month-end closing activities within a dynamic fashion retail environment.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Accurately record and maintain daily financial transactions within the accounting system.
* Assist in the preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor disbursements.
* Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure prompt processing.
* Provide support for monthly and annual closing processes.
* Maintain organized and readily accessible financial files and documentation.
* Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as required.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
0–2 years of accounting experience (internship or fashion/retail exposure is a plus)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., ERP, Quick-books, etc.)
Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
Good communication skills and a team player attitude
