Responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of financial accounting functions, encompassing the preparation, review, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and reports to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory and procedural standards. This includes managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, facilitating timely month-end and year-end closing procedures, overseeing accounts payable and receivable processing, aiding in budget preparation and financial planning, monitoring financial data for trends and cost optimization opportunities, ensuring compliance with government reporting requirements, collaborating with internal departments to provide financial insights, maintaining internal controls, supporting external audits, and remaining current on accounting regulations and best practices.
