Design Manager Hospitality

ACE Consulting Engineers (Moharram – Bakhoum) is seeking to hire a Design Manager with Hospitality experience. The position will be responsible for overseeing the design and design review of a range of hospitality projects during the pre-tender and tender stage.

• Lead and manage the design development of hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and branded residences, from concept stage through detailed design and construction support.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including architecture, interior design, structural, MEP, landscape, lighting, and specialist consultants, to ensure fully integrated project deliverables.
• Review client briefs, operator standards, and brand requirements, and translate them into efficient, practical, and high-quality design solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Monitor design progress, deliverables, and approvals to ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, timelines, budgets, and ACE internal procedures.
• Liaise with clients, developers, hotel operators, project managers, cost consultants, and authorities to resolve design issues, obtain required approvals, and maintain smooth project communication.
• Conduct design reviews, identify coordination clashes and project risks, and propose value engineering solutions that enhance functionality, guest experience, constructability, and cost efficiency.
• Support proposal preparation, resource planning, and technical input for hospitality bids, while contributing to the continuous improvement of ACE’s hospitality design standards and delivery processes.
