Job Description:**Option 1 (Formal):**

The organization seeks a highly qualified and experienced Procurement and Supply Trainer, certified to CIPS Level 5, to execute a comprehensive training program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a duration of three months. The successful candidate will possess demonstrable expertise in practical procurement methodologies and a proven track record of instructing professionals in the areas of strategic sourcing, contract management, supply chain ethics, and procurement best practices, all in accordance with established CIPS standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Training Delivery and Curriculum Implementation:**

* Facilitate engaging workshops, both in-person and virtual, encompassing the entirety of the CIPS Level 5 syllabus, including but not limited to procurement and supply chain strategies, contract and supplier management, negotiation techniques, risk management and compliance, and sustainable procurement practices.
* Adapt training materials to ensure alignment with procurement regulations specific to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the unique requirements of relevant industries, such as the public sector, oil and gas, and construction.
* Employ interactive pedagogical methods, including case studies, role-playing exercises, and simulations, to foster practical application of learned concepts.

2. **Participant Assessment and Support:**

* Evaluate trainee progress through the administration of quizzes, assignments, and mock examinations.
* Provide individualized coaching to assist participants in preparing for CIPS Level 5 examinations.
* Gather feedback and refine the training approach to optimize its effectiveness.

3. **Compliance and Reporting:**

* Ensure that all training content adheres strictly to CIPS global standards and relevant local laws within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
* Maintain meticulous records of attendance, performance metrics, and training outcomes for dissemination to project stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

Skills:

Mandatory

  • CIPS Level 5 Certification (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is a must.
  • 5+ years in procurement/supply chain roles (e.g., buyer, category manager, procurement consultant).
  • 2+ years of training/facilitation experience (corporate training, academia, or consulting).
  • Deep knowledge of procurement frameworks, tendering processes, and contract law.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a strong plus).

Preferred

  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia/GCC and understanding of local procurement laws.
  • Familiarity with e-procurement tools (SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement).
  • Ability to travel within KSA if required.
