Job Description:**Option:**
> A distinguished Senior Electrical Design Engineer is sought to contribute expertise within the oil and gas sector. Candidates must possess a minimum of four (4) years and a maximum of seven (7) years of demonstrable experience in electrical design, advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, and a foundational understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.

> **Primary Responsibilities:**

> * Design and engineer electrical systems and components integral to oil and gas endeavors.
> * Generate comprehensive electrical drawings and schematics utilizing AutoCAD.
> * Formulate precise electrical designs encompassing Bills of Materials (BOM), drawings (DWG), and technical specifications.
> * Employ AutoCAD to produce meticulous design layouts and schematics for electrical systems utilized in oil and gas applications.
> * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs conform to project stipulations and industry regulations.
> * Conduct thorough research to underpin design decisions and maintain currency regarding advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies.
> * Apply fundamental knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens preferred) to facilitate seamless integration with control systems.
> * Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of soft starters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), synchronization techniques, and distribution principles.
> * Guarantee designs adhere to pertinent electrical standards including, but not limited to, IEC, NEC, and NEMA.
> * Provide support in motor and cable sizing calculations, as well as the design of Low Voltage (LV) panels.
> * Offer assistance in the selection and specification of generators (gas/diesel) and pumps.
> * Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, conveying design concepts and updates in a clear and professional manner.
> * Manage concurrent projects effectively while upholding superior quality standards within stringent deadlines.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4 to 67 years of relevant experience in electrical design within the oil and gas sector.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design applications.
- Basic knowledge of PLC basics (Siemens) programming and systems.
- Knowledge about soft starters, VFD, ATS, STD, Synchronization and distribution principles.
- Advanced Communication skills.
- Awareness about electrical standards (IEC, NEC, NEMA, ….)
- Knowledge about generators gas/diesel, pumps.
- Prepare accurate designs (BOM, DWG, Technical specs.,.)
- Awareness of motor sizing, cable sizing.
- Background in LV panels design.
