A well-known and popular restaurant in Al Kuwait, Kuwait is currently seeking a skilled and experienced waiter/waitress to join our dynamic team. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages to our guests. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, who is passionate about the hospitality industry and takes pride in delivering a memorable dining experience to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
  3. Take accurate food and drink orders from customers and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Ensure the accuracy of orders by verifying the contents before serving.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
  6. Assist in setting up tables, arranging decorations, and ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
  7. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  8. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  9. Upsell additional menu items, such as desserts or beverages, to increase revenue.
  10. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or similar establishment.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  5. Friendly and outgoing personality with a customer-oriented approach.
  6. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  7. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  8. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
