Job Description
- Keep abreast with the Ministry of Labor and Immigration rules and regulation & UAE labor laws through staying connected with government departments representatives on a periodic basis.
- Effectively apply immigration and visa related knowledge to day to day HC operations and work-related transactions and situational issues.
- Update and maintain employee database – scanning passport, labor contracts, labor cards, EID, photos, etc.
- Ensure employee documents related to Visa and Government relations unit are properly and adequately maintained in the form of soft and hard copies (as required).
- Prepare periodic management and operational reports with which include but is not limited to pension fund, MOL & Visa status report, Monthly cost provisions etc. This also includes preparing adhoc reports as requested by the management.
- Assist all employees with day to day MOL, Visa, Immigration, Government related queries.
- Ensure renewal and new visas are processed on time and within deadline to avoid penalties.
- Maintain knowledge of various government systems and departments – Department of Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi municipalities, MOL, department of immigration, police department, any other such judicial parties.
- Schedule medical test and collect reports in a timely basis.
- Maintain and update pension fund processing for UAE & GCC nationals.
- Adhere to deadline of collecting passports in a timely manner, through proper coordination with PRO and via immigration Mailbox and SMS notifications received.
- Job shadowing for employees on any type of leave within visa and government relations unit.
- Carry out Khidmah’s transactions with all Government Departments.
- Carry out all transactions related to work permits, residence visa of Khidmah staff in the Ministry of Labor, Naturalization and Residence department in Abu Dhabi and all other Emirates.
- Ensure proper coordination with medical insurance provider / broker with timely enrollment of new joiners in corporate medical insurance scheme.
