This role presents an opportunity to contribute to our Civil Infrastructure Team by providing essential support and technical expertise on a diverse portfolio of projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate within a team environment to deliver transportation investigation, design, and assessment services for both internal and external clients. Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of transportation projects from initial investigation through design and construction, as well as design management of civil elements. A commitment to exceeding client expectations through sound technical and operational advice is essential, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying innovative solutions. * A comprehensive understanding of fundamental transport planning and modeling principles, enabling effective contribution to transport modeling, master planning, and impact studies.
* Familiarity with key project controls and experience managing small to medium-sized commissions.
* Adaptability to manage a diverse workload, contribute to new business development opportunities, and maintain a proactive awareness of developments within their technical area of expertise.
* An innovative and problem-solving approach to consultancy, focused on delivering tangible benefits to clients and fostering strong, lasting relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently to address complex challenges.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.

* Proficiency in managing planning studies, development applications, and reviews.
* Experience in developing comprehensive plans, studies, and analyses.
* Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Cube Voyager, PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Synchro, and HCS+ is desirable.
* Experience conducting field inspections to collect relevant data for development review processes and to verify compliance with approved plans.
* Proficiency in creating, managing, and manipulating large datasets using MS Excel.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information concisely to both internal teams and clients.
* A sound understanding of Project Management techniques.
* Capacity to coordinate, manage, and supervise the workloads of junior colleagues.
* A collaborative approach to project work, facilitating resource coordination and driving project delivery to meet client expectations and project outcomes.

**Additional Information:**

* Experience Profile: Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation engineering and planning.

**Qualifications:**

* Professional Membership: Membership of a professional institution or society such as CIHT, ICE, or TPS is required.
* Eligibility for chartership, certification, or licensure from a recognized professional body (e.g., P.E., P.Eng., CEng, Chartered Transport Planner, or equivalent) is preferred.
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field is mandatory.

**Desirable Skills and Experience:**

* Experience with road safety engineering and audits.
