Job Description
1) Advice/counsel at-risk trainees by providing proactive strategies to promote academic success increased attendance and participation
2) Manage the Student Council process including planning and preparing trimester meetings, Trainees representative appointments.
3) Working with Line manager in ascertaining trainee’s requirement and following up the tasks entrusted.
4) Receive trainees’ complaints and assists where appropriate.
5) Act as the main point of contact between trainees, parents and institute staff and faculty
6) Develop, maintain and manage trainees’ records, and communication details.
7) Participate in conducting interviews with trainees during the period specified
8) Study the problems of trainees and propose appropriate solutions to them and coordinate with the designated bodies.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral communication, and fluency in Arabic & English.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong student’s service focus.
- Knowledge of a variety of approaches to assisting students to learn effectively when they have a disability or disabilities which might inhibit their learning.
- Professional and diplomatic skills when dealing with trainees and staff.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an educational sector, preferably with experience of working in the Trainees services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
