Job Description

Job Title: Telecom Project Manager

A project manager is a person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, designing, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing of a project.

Objective:

1- To plan, developing budget, oversee & document all aspects of the E2E Managed Services Project for both delivery & maintenance.

2- To work closely with the top management to make sure that the scope & budget & direction of the project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

3- To assure that the project achieves the specific KPIs for managed services.

Roles & Essential Function:

1- Preparation of Project operation procedures & follow up.

2- KPIs Monitoring & Follow-up & issue (Daily-Weekly-Monthly) Reports for each KPI.

3- Productivity Monitoring & Follow-up & issue reports on (Installation & Maintenance) for Both I&R & OSP for Fiber 4- Copper, HFO & EFO business sectors.

5- Finding creative solutions to increase productivity, improve KPIs & reduce cost.

6- Follow-up on invoicing & clearing payments with STC.

7- Coaching & training of the project teams.

8- Resources Planning Management (Manpower, Tools & Transportation).

9- Analyzing, control and minimizing risk & uncertainty.

10- Developing scheduling, estimating time & cost, documenting, monitoring & reporting progress, quality controlling & benefits realization.

11- Applying lessons learned, defining roles and responsibilities, leading project planning, tracking & performing risk management, applying best practices., promoting good working relationships and making things happen.

12- Managing all phases of project development to ensure user satisfaction, project continuity, internal consistency and timely delivery of services.  

13- Managing and coordinating with technical, and non-technical staff by establishing performance measures, goals, objectives and priorities, providing direction & receiving feedback.

14- Managing relationships & follow up with Support Services Dept. and Sub-contractors to ensure equipment and services procured and installed meet requirements and specifications;

15- Evaluates overall & individual work performance to determine effectiveness in providing quality products within time and cost restraints;

Academic Qualification:

1-     Bachelor’s degree, Telecommunication & Electronic Engineering

2-     PMP Certificate is plus.

3-     Experience in the same field.
