Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Office Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Technical Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our daily activities. You will play a crucial role in managing projects, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring the smooth running of our technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technical aspects of office operations, including project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure the smooth flow of information and collaboration.
- Manage and supervise a team of technical staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of technical staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage and maintain office equipment and infrastructure, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as necessary.
- Prepare and present reports on office operations, including project progress, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards in all technical operations.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the private sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of project management methodologies and office technologies.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards in the technical field.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
