Job Description
We are looking for a Tech Lead who is passionate about solving business problems by applying the best engineering approaches and practices. As a member of the engineering team, you are required to apply your knowledge to the entire software development life-cycle. KEY Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee solution architecture.
- Ability to design event-driven message protocols & APIs between microservices.
- Select appropriate tools and approaches to achieve product goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience in software development for Banks / Financial Institutions
- Experience in building and leading a multifunctional development team(Web, mobile, backend, devops, data, and QA).
- Ability to break down complex requirements into workable tasks.
- The ability to communicate with a product lead and a design lead to clarify/adjust requirements is a must.
- Ability to own a business problem and coordinate solutions across multifunctional teams.
Skills
Desired Skills
- Knowledge about CI/CD.
- Understanding of Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks, ideally some understanding of Automation testing.
- Experience building backend microservices in Python, Java, or node.js.
- Experience with FastAPI, Spring boot.
- Knowledge of DBs (SQL / No-SQL) is a must.
- Experience with Kafka is a plus.
- Experience in streaming technologies (e.g. Spark) is a plus.
- Experience in Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
