Job Description

-Liaise with the Project Manager and formulate an approach to refer the Contract documents and Authorities:

-Authority approved design details, programme of works and PQP.

– Coordinate with the Project Manager/Subcontractors for issuance of logs for the Project shop drawings, materials, prequalification, and Method statements and project closure documents.

– Represent the Company in technical meetings along with the Project Manager at the start, regular intervals and prior to Project completion with the Engineer / in house teams/subcontractor’s.

– Liaise with the Project Manager and enforce the system for engineering data transfer to the entire team responsible for the Engineering and Construction of the Project from mobilization to commencement.

– Report weekly to the Project Manager the status of all technical works.

– Respond proactively to the inquiries of the team members of the construction project.

– Liaise with the Project Manager to assess and analyses the effect of the Els/Change Orders to extract clear response from respective teams.

– Assess and analyze the answers to TQs raised by the working team for missing/discrepant information. Communicate the inference to respective teams for clear response.

– Communicate with the construction project manager, contracts administrator and project control manager technical concerns that affect the pressures of a construction project.

– Issue updated and approved shop drawings/materials lTQs answers to site QS and QA/QC for their perusal.

– Ensure that the construction team is working with the updated and approved Engineering documents

– Respond to the inquiries of the team members of the construction project.

– Coordinate with construction team to record changes from shop drawings due to non

-construct able details as well as Engineering deficit.

– Liaise with the Project Manager to create and maintain engineering files for the Project for use as required
