Supply Chain Officer – Sahara Trans

Job Description

Catering to Freight forwarding requirements for Alghanim Sahara Trans and its branches. The job holder will be an integral part of the operations team providing clear, accurate, and insightful business/financial analysis. The job holder will also contribute to business planning and will be included in project work and reporting of all operational activities like KPI, business volume growth, process changes, etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: –


  • Oversee processes across divisions and bring efficiency.
  • Preparing and circulating daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for management.
  • Manage and report KPI across all divisions to the head for bringing in efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Improvise freight, customs clearance, and delivery flow processes by creating SOP & SLA
  • Make reports for tender awarding after bidding processes are over on quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly tenders. Work towards reducing landing costs.
  • Reporting on freight bookings of shipments regularly to management basis projections were given and actual loadings. Business Development & cost reduction presentations.
