Sr. Quality Assurance Officer

The main responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Review Business requirements specification (BRS) documents, and assist Junior testing team to understand them.

• Study the impact of all system components requirements in a holistic manner rather than a discrete system approach.

• Challenge the requirements and ensure brainstorming sessions with all stakeholders are being conducted to uncover gaps in requirements.

• Create the quality plan, define quality assurance tasks to be done and estimate required period for those tasks.

• Communicate the test strategy to the Project Manager and Development Team.

• Identify test resources, estimate test effort and define test schedule and milestones.

• Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems, goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.

• Execute the test cases on the staging environment.

• Ensure that all aspects of testing are completed (manual execution for test cases, regression, performance test …).

• Ensure that delivered documents comply with defined templates and standards.

• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.

• Prepare Bug report, report defects accurately using planned defect tracking tool, assign to development team and review defects status.
