Job Description:**Subject: Ignition Developer Position at Lucid Motors**

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ignition Developer to contribute to the advancement of our innovative luxury electric vehicle manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and customization of applications on the Ignition platform, focusing on APM, LMIS, MES, and CMMS solutions, as well as the creation of data visualization tools. This role requires expertise in integrating with PLCs, OPC UA devices, and enterprise systems to ensure comprehensive reporting and manufacturing analytics. A strong background in automotive manufacturing environments, coupled with a thorough understanding of production metrics and data-driven reporting, is essential.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and customize Ignition applications for the Ignition portfolio, including LMIS, APM, MES, CMMS, data visualization dashboards, and reports utilizing Ignition modules (Perspective, IO Gateway, Sepasoft, Vision, Reports).
* Analyze requirements from Ignition Architects and Project Managers and develop applications adhering to established templates and themes.
* Create reusable components and libraries to enhance development efficiency.
* Integrate Ignition applications with PLCs, OPC UA devices, and other industrial equipment.
* Develop interfaces to facilitate seamless communication with SQL databases and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP/MES/SAP/Garage/Salesforce).
* Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize system performance.
* Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of developed applications and interfaces to guarantee reliability and accuracy.
* Collaborate with system architects and engineers during deployment and configuration phases.
* Provide post-deployment support and maintain comprehensive documentation of application designs and integration processes.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in development with the Ignition platform and its core modules.
* Comprehensive understanding of SCADA/HMI systems and industrial automation protocols (e.g., OPC/UA, Modbus).
* Demonstrated experience in SAP integrations, REST API connectivity, and SQL query development.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java) used in Ignition development.
* Experience in writing SQL queries and a robust understanding of database concepts (DDL, DML, DCL, Indexing, Join, Subquery, Union, Order By, Group By).
* Proficient knowledge of computer programming languages, including SQL, OPC, HTML, Java, Python, C#, and Visual Basic.
* Strong understanding of PLC programming languages for Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
* Solid understanding of HMI development principles.
