We are looking for a new member of a social team to work amongst a thriving agency that continues to deliver creative solutions and social strategies to the world’s leading brands. The ideal person will be technically adept with the usual consumer-facing social platforms, but also back-end products such as Facebook Business. We are looking for someone that is rich in ideas, a step ahead with industry insights and has the confidence to manage both an internal team and a wide range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant social media experience with an agency or brand. Listed below is the required skill set for this position.
What does the role involve?
Client Relations
• Be the point of contact for clients. Attend client meetings, lead communication and ensure a great rapport between agency and brand.
• Contribute to client strategies: from interpreting briefs, and devising KPIs and deliverables to concluding and presenting project reports.
Campaign Strategy
• Contribute to creative ideation and manage overlaying social media strategy to ensure successful social concepts
• Devise organic and paid social strategies, using relevant social media and marketing platforms
• Report on organic and paid social campaigns
• Monitor trends in media consumption to ensure we are using the most relevant communication channels to talk to the audience
• Be a thought leader on content marketing best practices and innovation
Project Management for clients and talent
• Compile budgets, timing schedules and apply billing procedure
• Manage influencer relationships, outreach, briefing, contracting and billing
• Collate and report on all project deliverables with regards to influencer/talent
Team Management
• Line management of the social team, including providing them with ongoing support, and an active interest in helping them develop their skillset and experience. Manage their performance and the appraisal process.
• Liaise with in-house Creative and Production teams on projects to coordinate deliverables, talent, and wider production/creative elements
• Ensure the team apply best practice and protocol to social community management and content creation
• Ensure the team is trained in analytics, reporting, and digital performance metrics and capable of identifying marketing trends and opportunities from data sources.
• Work collaboratively across the agency, build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients alike
• Work with the new business team to contribute to new business strategy and pitch development
