Service Technician- AC and Home Appliances | Oman
The objective of this position is to attend the service calls in Nizwa region for AC and Home Appliances. The purpose of the role is to ensure the best industry practices to be followed while getting the job card attended and also to get completed in stipulated time period.
- Attending to the service calls as per the Job Cards and closing it to a successful completion.
- Communicating with the customers at every stage of the Job Card.
- Following-up with vendors / customers for timely completion.
- Arranging spare parts as per requirement from the spare parts team
- Following up for non-available spare parts.
- Attending critical / VIP customer complaints with utmost sensitivity
- Effectively utilisation of teams in the given territory.
- Attending all complains without any escalation.
- Ensure the Job card closure in system within the stipulated time period
- Ensure the billing of completed Job Cards immediately.
- Weekly reviewing of open Job cards and report to Service coordinator with remarks.
- Generating out-warranty and AMC business
- Raise critical alarms when out of ordinary faults are seen.
- Maintaining excellent relations with customers dealers and sales teams
- Updating Job card status with sales team whenever required.
- Periodic dealer visits and submitting the report.
- Clearing the sub-contractors invoices if any on time.
- Reviewing sub-contractors performances monthly along with Service coordinator.
- Monitoring, Controlling and Guiding Subcontractors for completion of Job Card.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
1. Air conditioning Refrigeration Diploma (3 years)/2 year trade Trade certificate course with at least 10 years of experience in trouble shooting, consumer durable service.
2. Thorough hands-on knowledge Split/ Cassette/ Ducted / VRF / Package type Air-conditioners with trouble shooting.
3. Thorough knowledge in attending to Washing machine / Water Cooler / Refrigerator related complaints .
4. English language mandatory. Having knowledge of Arabic will be added advantage.
5. Person should be familiar with MS Office
6. Having good customer handling skill
7. Should have valid Oman Driving License.
