The incumbent is responsible for providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: preparing and issuing accurate shop drawings and coordination drawings based on project design documents, identifying and resolving design conflicts, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. This includes preparing technical submittals and requests for information (RFIs) to address any technical discrepancies or omissions. The incumbent will contribute to value engineering studies and change order evaluations as required, and assist in the preparation of subcontractor and client invoices. They will also maintain accurate project documentation, including shop drawing logs, and participate in technical progress meetings. Further responsibilities involve conducting quantity surveys, performing site visits to gather measurements, coordinating with surveying engineers, and preparing as-built drawings. The incumbent will also review and coordinate design drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), specifications, subcontractor shop drawings, and cost estimates. Collaboration with suppliers and lighting designers will be required. Furthermore, the incumbent will produce CAD drawings for presentations and workshop drawings for woodwork and furniture details. Finally, the incumbent will source FF&E, manage material and cost considerations within the set budget, and perform any other tasks assigned by the Principal and/or General Manager.
