Job Description:**Havelock One Interiors, a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East specializing in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. This appointment is driven by expansion within the UAE, a key growth market. The successful candidate will support the projects team by providing expertise in commercial activities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for fit-out operations. Key responsibilities include performing commercial activities encompassing contractual documentation, preparation and tracking of variation submittals, progress billing, and collection follow-up. Further duties involve reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) against drawings to raise claims and assist the Project Manager (PM) with cost monitoring and controlling. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also prepare work orders and recommendations for subcontract and material orders within budget, ensuring compliance with the commercial framework. Additional responsibilities include BOQ preparation, management, measurement activities, evaluating contractual correspondence, managing project delays, negotiating timelines, verifying contract congruence, advising the PM on contractual matters, submitting monthly progress invoice evaluations, and closing out final accounts. Timely submission and agreement of project final account to client Timely close out of subcontractor final accounts and reversal of duplicate orders on epicor Prepare and project cost report each month and present to senior management for review Coordinate and liaise with the Estimation and Purchasing Departments as well as other contractors on the project site in all matters relating to the project finances expenditures delays and required materials etc Ensure compliance with Havelock code of conduct at all times. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, a minimum of ten years of experience in a similar role, comprehensive knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Contractual matters, familiarity with FIDIC Contracts, and the ability to manage projects valued between AED 50-100 million. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a strong understanding of the interiors industry are essential. The candidate must demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a multinational environment.
