Job Description

  • Responsible for direct management of all Quality Assurance associates.
  • Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products 
  • Prepare reports on each test performed for measuring quality, quantity, and composition
  • Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards
  • Sample and identify, if any, bacterial or non-desirable excess material
  • Prepare graphs, charts, and reports from test results
  • Maintain the long-term continuity of production and service quality
  • Complete tests required for food product packaging
  • Keep records of all tests that have been carried out
  • Perform quality control analysis including tests and inspections of products and processes
  • Maintain the corporate quality manual and quality records
  • Review and report the principal causes of quality loss and nonconformance
  • Ensure all check sheets are correctly completed and all non-compliance found have had the correct action taken and signed off
  • Arrange, coordinate and participate in external quality audits
  • Responsible for ensuring Food Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures Responsible for direct management and utilization of laboratory (analytical and microbiology), sanitation, microbiological equipment, raw materials, and all quality processes.
  • Optimize resources while ensuring raw materials and finished products meet specifications and manufacturing standards and are in accordance with SFDA, GMPs, HACCP, and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Oversee daily Quality Assurance inspections to ensure all products are meeting compliance.
  • Write, update, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Conduct internal audit process through continuous improvements, shared best practices, and teamwork.
  • Leads the development and implementation of Food Safety Fundamentals, the Food Safety Plan, and the Food Quality Plan.
  • Oversee development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF (Safe Quality Food) program.
  • Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of SQF.
  • Responsible to ensure that all SQF documents are safely stored, maintained, and accessible.
  • Responsible for departmental non-conformances and implementation of corrective action ensuring all corrective actions are documented and outstanding actions closed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify the root causes of any non-compliance.
