We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Consultancy team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of mechanical systems across diverse building and infrastructure projects. This position requires close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meticulously review designs, oversee construction activities, and guarantee adherence to project specifications and industry benchmarks.

**Responsibilities:**

The incumbent will demonstrate a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and project requirements. This includes critically evaluating and approving mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications, ensuring conformity with applicable codes, standards, and client stipulations. Effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and other relevant disciplines is essential to facilitate integrated design solutions and seamless project execution. Proactive identification and resolution of potential issues related to quality, workmanship, compliance, and design pertaining to mechanical works are critical, alongside the implementation of innovative solutions and contributions to value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Further responsibilities encompass the review and commentary on technical submittals, including shop drawings, material submittals, and test reports, as well as the preparation of comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and project documentation. The role will also involve assisting in the review of variation orders, preparing handover documentation, and providing technical input on project financials and payments. The development and oversight of testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical systems are paramount to ensure compliance with project requirements and performance standards. Continuous professional development is expected to remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, contributing to innovation and enhanced service delivery.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on engineering consultancy or related sectors.
* Comprehensive knowledge of engineering systems, technologies, principles, codes, and practices.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities with innovative solutions and the capacity for critical and creative thinking under pressure.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications.
* Excellent command of the English language.
* Must possess Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification (Professional or Consultant).
* Must hold a valid and transferable Iqama (for non-Saudi applicants).
